A Four-hour Adventure Cruise
Caseville Trip Description & Departure Schedule
(Bring a box lunch to enjoy on the Island - beverages and snacks may be purchased on the boat.)
Departs for Big Charity Island from Caseville Municipal Harbor in Caseville for the one hour cruise to Big Charity Island.
Upon arrival on Big Charity Island You will enjoy the 7 minute walk under the thick hardwood forest canopy to the Lighthouse and Lightkeepers home.
Plan to enjoy your lunch at the lighthouse picnic area where the captain provides a history of the of the Charity Island lighthouse as part of each trip.
After lunch the captain will be available to provide a short guided hike down to the west beach where the rare Pitcher's Thistle" grows. This plant is on the Federal Governments "endangered Species" list.
Then, visit the rock outcropping next to the lighthouse to see 350 million year old fossils and flint nodules embedded in the Bayport limestone formation that were so important to the survival of the earliest residents of Michigan over two thousand years ago.
There will be time for taking pictures of the lighthouse and a visit to the light-house gift shop before returning to the boat for the return trip to port.
Total time on the Island One hour to One hour 20 minutes.

Saturdays - DEPARTS 10 am and returns between 2 and 2:30 pm
(Provide we have a minimum of 10 people So call early to reserve)
JULY & AUGUST
Thursday and Saturdays DEPARTS 10 am and returns at 2 p.m.
TICKETS: Adults $39.00 - Children 12 & Under $16.00
Trips can be arranged any day of the week with groups of 30 or more.
Cruises are subject to lake conditions and subject to the Boat being Pre-chartered by tour groups so call for seat availability or see online schedule before planning your trip.
